Why Automately is the first candidate.
Its automation focus is clear, its name can stand apart from Ashley, and its existing resources offer a starting point for an automation agency or educator. A directory with paid listings and featured placements could give the brand a more specific commercial offer. That is a proposed model to test—not proof of paying customers or recurring income.
| Area | Current evidence | What still needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Public experience | Homepage and Lead Journey Monitor route returned HTTP 200 during review. | Mobile usability, complete task flows, broken links and error handling. A successful page load is a limited check. |
| Resources and tools | Source documents workflow guides, opportunity and mapping tools, SOP analysis and browser-local journey review. | Demo each included tool. Explain which functions are local, rules-based, manual or connected to a real backend. |
| Lead operations | Source documents Postgres lead capture, optional MailerLite handoff and a protected operator monitor. | Test with consented sample data. Provider acceptance does not establish inbox delivery. Do not expose real lead records in a demo. |
| Monitoring product | Documentation explicitly limits the monitor to this installation and browser-local review workspaces. | Do not describe it as a finished multi-tenant subscription service or continuous external monitoring. |
| Paid directory | Listings, submissions and featured placements are a requested direction; delivery is not verified by this audit. | Verify submission → moderation → payment → publication, placement duration, expiry, cancellation/refund handling and admin controls before selling that capability. |
| Revenue and transfer | No reconciled revenue, traffic valuation or completed transfer was supplied for this review. | Gather dated records; define included assets and exclusions; document recurring costs and buyer-owned accounts. |
The improvements worth doing before listing.
- Choose one clear offer. Decide whether the asset is an automation resource site, a working paid directory, or a specific monitoring product. Explain the other features without combining them into an inflated SaaS claim.
- Prove the core journey. If the directory is included, demonstrate one test submission, moderation decision, payment outcome and published placement; make test transactions distinguishable from real revenue.
- Collect customer evidence. Try to secure a small number of real paid listings or pilot customers. Record the price, refund terms, delivery work and repeat interest. This is a proposed test, not an achieved milestone.
- Make the handoff independent. Replace or explicitly exclude Ashley’s personal booking, coaching and shared account dependencies. Prepare a fresh deployment and account setup runbook.
- Package the evidence. Record analytics date ranges, content inventory, rights, costs, maintenance hours, known issues, backup/restore instructions and an accurate walkthrough.
Adding more features only helps if it resolves a buyer’s specific uncertainty. Finish the core experience and evidence before expanding the scope again.
What would a buyer receive?
This is a proposed asset inventory, subject to ownership and transfer checks and an eventual written agreement. Nothing has been transferred.
- Domain, site source and deployment instructions.
- Original brand files, owned content and permitted image assets, with a rights inventory.
- Included tools, their current limitations, configuration documentation and an operator walkthrough.
- Permitted analytics access and appropriately handled customer data, only where the scope and applicable terms allow.
- A clearly bounded transition period, with hours, response times and exclusions agreed before a sale.
Not automatically included: Waymaker, other portfolio sites, Ashley’s ongoing consulting, personal payment accounts, shared provider credentials or third-party licenses that cannot transfer.

Start with the decision, including the difficult part
Ashley is considering Automately as a first sale candidate and finding it difficult to choose because she has put love and care into all of the sites. This entry opens the Site Flipping experiment. No asking price, buyer offer, transaction or financial result has been reported.
Separate the current product from the next idea
The public homepage and Lead Journey Monitor route responded successfully in this review. Repository documentation describes workflow resources, lead capture, browser-local review tools and an operator monitor for this installation. Paid directory listings and featured placements are a proposed direction; their release and paid transactions have not been verified by this review.
Next decision: complete the readiness and owner-fit review. Then decide whether to prepare a listing, improve a specific gap, or keep the site.
