Build along with Ashley · Challenge 01
One skill.
One offer.
One small test.
A five-day sequence you can take at your own pace. Turn something you know into a clear offer, then learn how a relevant person understands it.
What you will make: a one-paragraph offer, a simple page or document, feedback notes, and a next decision.
Suggested working blocks: around 30–45 minutes per step. These are planning estimates; arranging feedback may take longer. A document is enough to start.
Day 01Choose the problem
Name a person you can reach and one problem you know how to help with. Write what they do now and what would improve.
Where AI can help: Ask AI to organize your notes and identify unanswered questions. You decide whether the problem is real.
Keep: A person, a problem, and a question to investigate.
Open the companion resource Day 02Give the offer edges
Describe the deliverable, inputs, exclusions, and what finished means. Mark price or timing as undecided if you have not worked them out.
Where AI can help: Ask for three wording options using only your facts. Reject invented results, credentials, and guarantees.
Keep: A short offer someone can explain back to you.
Open the companion resource Day 03Make it easy to inspect
Put the offer into a document or one page. Add an honest next action, such as inviting a conversation. Review it on the device a reader will use.
Where AI can help: Ask AI to check clarity and missing information. Walk through every link and action yourself.
Keep: A first version ready for feedback.
Open the companion resource Day 04Ask, then listen
Show the offer to a willing person who resembles your buyer. Ask who it is for, what they would receive, and what remains unclear. Avoid explaining before they answer.
Where AI can help: Use de-identified notes to group observations. Check the grouping against what the person actually said.
Keep: Feedback notes with context and limitations.
Open the companion resource Day 05Choose the next move
Compare your expectation with the observations. Continue, change the offer, or pause. Write one next test and a date to review it.
Where AI can help: Ask for possible explanations and questions. Keep your decision grounded in the evidence you collected.
Keep: A dated decision and a short field note.

when you tried it?
Your field note can be short: what you tested, what you observed, what it took, and what you will do next. A question or an incomplete result can still be useful.
