Watch three. Build one. Test it.

See the decisions

Watch a process checklist, meeting follow-up and newsletter draft take shape. Learn what belongs in a reusable skill.

Work on your task

Choose a narrow output. Define your inputs, instructions and review rules. Build along with Ashley.

Check a second example

Find missing facts and weak instructions. Improve the skill, then choose a real-world test for the next week.

Includes the learner workbook, reusable starter instructions, a replay of the delivered session and a three-run results tracker. The workshop teaches one working skill; completing all seven is outside the live session’s scope.

Seven useful starting points

Which task keeps coming back?

01

Capture your process

Turn a recurring task into a checklist and reusable instructions.

02

Meeting next steps

Extract commitments, owners and open questions; draft a follow-up for review.

03

Newsletter from notes

Create a source-grounded draft in your voice, with a claim check.

04

Client kickoff

Prepare a brief, missing-information questions and a kickoff checklist.

05

Offer test

Plan customer questions and a small demand test before investing in a build.

06

Automation priorities

Rank tasks by frequency, effort, setup needs and how easily you can check them.

07

Weekly plan

Fit the next useful actions around your priorities and actual capacity.

Your 90 minutes.

  1. 0–10: choose a task and define what good looks like.
  2. 10–30: watch three focused demonstrations.
  3. 30–55: build your instructions and run the first example.
  4. 55–75: test a second input and correct the weak points.
  5. 75–90: questions, handoff and your next three runs.

What to bring

A laptop, access to Claude or another assistant, and one task you understand well enough to check. Bring two sanitized examples, or use the supplied fictional notes. Claude skill upload requires the relevant file and code capabilities to be enabled; the prompt route works as a fallback. Account setup should be completed before the session.
