Instead of asking AI to “make me successful,” give it a specific question and the information it needs to help you think.
1. Bring a real task
Choose a small task: clarifying an offer, preparing for a conversation, comparing options or organizing rough notes.
2. Separate facts from assumptions
Provide what you know, what is uncertain, your constraints and your definition of a useful result. Ask AI to label unsupported assumptions.
3. Review before acting
Check names, numbers, claims and anything consequential. Keep sensitive customer or personal information out of a tool unless you have appropriate permission and safeguards.
