Getting the work into people’s hands.

A day of deployment recovery, publishing, and checking what actually reached people.

By Ashley Kays · The Wealth Experiment

Today was a lesson in persistence—and in checking the result after the deployment says it worked.

What I worked on

I worked on getting updates released across my projects, recovering The Wealth Experiment from a migration timeout, checking Website Traffic’s latest release, and moving the newsletters forward.

What moved forward

  • Updates were deployed across 22 services, and four reviewed pull requests were merged.
  • All 63 inspected Railway services showed successful deployments at the time of the review. This was a deployment-status check, not a claim that every feature had been tested.
  • The Wealth Experiment recovered from an earlier database migration timeout and passed its build, migration, health, and public-site checks.
  • Website Traffic’s latest updates were published and verified.
  • AI Teachers and Waymaker Agency newsletters were sent, with three reported deliveries, no reported bounces, and one receipt independently verified.

What remained unfinished

At the time of this October 22 note, The Wealth Experiment, Marketing Coach, and UX Design Coach newsletters were still drafts. Sales Coach’s refresh was also drafted but not published. A few projects remained blocked by approval, DNS, or pull-request issues.

These are the results recorded for this day. Deployment counts and email deliveries do not establish traffic growth, customer value, or revenue.

What I learned

A successful deployment is one milestone. I still need to verify the database migration, health check, public page, email delivery, and actual user journey. Each check answers a different question about whether someone can use what I have built.

My next step

Review the remaining blockers, send the newsletters after final checks, and test whether real readers can complete and review a small experiment.

Try this on your own project

Choose one action a visitor should be able to complete. Follow it from the public page to the final confirmation or deliverable, and record what worked, what failed, and what you still need to check.
