Can five people find
their next useful step?

The connected first-week experience is live. Participant recruitment, observations, and measured productivity results are still pending.

What we built

Three starting paths now lead into the existing experiment brief, AI team planner, and restart workbench. Readers can explicitly save a plan, return to it, and keep an evidence log. Waymaker supplies the shared founder stories and Builder DNA scoring.

What we know—and what we don’t

The software is available to try. That is an implementation milestone, not evidence that it saves time or earns money. We have not yet recorded five participant sessions or a comparable manual-versus-AI timing study. There is no measured productivity multiplier to publish.

A five-person pilot

Invite five willing adults who have a real small project or recurring task. Include people seeking side income, more time, and a restart. Explain that this is a usability test, participation is optional, and feedback will not enroll them in a workshop or email list. Ask separately before recording or publishing quotations.

  1. Ask what they want to accomplish. Let them choose a path without coaching.
  2. Give them 15 minutes to make a plan, save it, leave the page, and find it again.
  3. Ask: “What will you do next?” and “What did you expect that you could not find?”
  4. With permission, follow up after a week: did they try the task, what happened, and what got in the way?

Use participant codes P1–P5. Record unaided completion, assistance, confusion, and return success. Five observations identify usability issues; they do not establish demand or a reliable conversion rate.

The first measured AI workflow case study

Choose one repeatable task with a fixed quality standard. Use comparable inputs for a manual run and an assisted run. Record every attempt, including failed outputs. Separate human effort from elapsed waiting time. Count prompts, briefing, review, corrections, setup, and tool costs. Retain the accepted output and a redacted prompt trail.

Publish the task, quality criteria, observations, limitations, and actual timings together. If the output is not equivalent, do not present a productivity ratio. Show first-run setup separately from a clearly labeled reuse scenario.

Keep the observations together

Open the workflow run log to record real timings and export a case-study draft. Use the pilot observation worksheet for P1–P5. Both save only when you choose to keep a copy in this browser.
