I’m ready to hand over?
Lead Path Watch is the first build-to-sell candidate. Quote Follow-up Desk is the second customer test. We are documenting the useful work and the emotional decisions.
Current stage: preparation and validation. No marketplace listing, paying pilot result, or sale is reported here.
What changed in the plan
We grouped sixteen ideas into two standalone candidates and supporting toolkits. Scope and change pricing share the existing AI Freelancer Studio. The other tools support AI Teachers, WebsiteTraffic, Outcome Driven, and SalesCoach.
What we will document
- Choosing: The customer, problem, current workaround, and why this deserves more attention.
- Building: What works, what fails, costs, and what still depends on the founder.
- Testing: Attempts, friction, repeat usage, support, and willingness to pay.
- Preparing: Whether a different operator can deploy, restore, and run the product.
- Listing: Verifiable claims, included assets, buyer questions, and actual offers.
- Letting go: What I hope a new owner preserves, what would make me ready, and what might make me keep it.
The next decision gate
A target of three paying pilot customers, repeated use over four weeks, and measured support and operating costs. These are proposed milestones, not existing results.
Record conversations, agreements, payments, usage, outcomes, refunds, and owner effort separately. An outstanding quote is not collected revenue.
Design the handoff from day one
- Separate configuration and costs from shared portfolio accounts.
- Keep source, dependencies, permissions, operating instructions, and known issues current.
- Restore with fictional data in a buyer-controlled environment.
- Verify the core flow, backups, ownership, and credential rotation.
Independent recovery rehearsal and verified customer demand remain gates before a sale listing.
