Three ways to put your skills to work

What could you build?

Choose one project that fits your experience. These examples show the scope: one customer, one problem, and a first version to test.

01 · Package a service

A service offer & page

Use your design or marketing experience to help a small business improve one confusing web page.

Your first version: a clear scope, a sample review, an offer page, and an invitation to a customer conversation.

Illustrative project idea.

Plan a service offer →

02 · Package what you know

A template or mini-guide

Turn your project experience into a client briefing template and kickoff checklist for new freelancers.

Your first version: an editable sample, clear instructions, and a product description for a buyer to review.

Illustrative project idea.

Plan a digital product →

03 · Make a useful tool

A simple planner or calculator

Help someone make one decision, such as choosing a first business test. Try Ashley’s First Experiment Planner to see the size of the build.

Your first version: a working demo or clickable prototype, a testing checklist, and a feedback question.

Working example; sales and participant results are not claimed.

Try the working example →

No coding is required for the template or service-page paths. A software prototype may need more setup. Bring your own idea or adapt one of these starting points.

The workshop focuses on a small first version and a customer test. Complex apps, integrations, and large stores need a separate scope. Progress depends on preparation, participation, and practice between sessions.

Our method · Reverse engineering

Take apart an example.
Build an offer of your own.

We’ll study who an offer helps, what it includes, how it’s priced, and how customers could find it. Then we’ll use those lessons to create an original offer for a customer you understand.

  1. Study an exampleLook at the offer, price, customer journey, and available evidence.
  2. Understand the customerName one person and the problem they need help solving.
  3. Find a useful differenceChoose how your skills can serve that customer better.
  4. Build your offerCreate a focused first version with AI and human review.
  5. Test real demandShow it to potential customers and record what they actually do.

We’ll distinguish visible facts from assumptions. A polished website or listed price alone does not establish demand, sales, or profit.

Latest from Ashley · Ideas revisited

My strongest ideas
have been here for years.

I revisited 85 tabs of old plans. Teaching, course creation, and helping people build kept coming back. Here is what I’m bringing forward—and how I’ll test it.

New experiment · Site Flipping

What does it take to let a site go?

“I’ve put love and care into all of them.” Follow Ashley’s decision about a possible Automately sale—from choosing and preparing to a listing, a handoff, and whatever the outcome teaches us.

Current stage: considering a sale. No sale result has been reported.

“You don’t have to know every tool or have the whole business figured out to begin.”

I’ve spent my career helping people turn complicated ideas into something useful. Now I’m applying that experience to my own projects and sharing the work as it takes shape.

The Wealth Experiment is a place to explore what your skills, curiosity, and AI can help you make. Follow the decisions, borrow a starting point, and adapt it to the time and life you have.

You’ll find working examples, practical guides, and open questions. When there are results to share, the context and effort belong alongside them.
